The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, recently presided over the first session of the MLA priority meeting. During this meeting, he emphasized the importance of good governance and stressed the need for MLAs to propose plans and solutions for the development of their areas.

The Chief Minister also announced his government’s commitment to making Himachal Pradesh a greener and cleaner state by 2025. To achieve this goal, the state transport department will soon be equipped with electric vehicles and 110 sites have been identified for setting up electric vehicle charging stations.

The Chief Minister also highlighted his government’s focus on developing Kangra as the tourism capital of the state, strengthening the health sector, and modernizing the education system. He instructed officers to prepare an action plan to enhance the facilities at Jwalaji Temple, conduct special raids to deal with the drug mafia, and come up with proposals to rejuvenate water bodies.

The Chief Minister also emphasized the importance of timely completion of developmental projects and instructed concerned departments to set a time limit for completion. He instructed the Jal Shakti Department to construct check dams and channelize rivulets to prevent damage due to floods.

In conclusion, the Chief Minister’s priorities and commitment to good governance, a greener and cleaner state, and the development of various sectors, bode well for the people of Himachal Pradesh and show a promising future for the state.
