Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Meets with Union Minister to Advance Ongoing NHAI Projects and Parvatmala Ropeways

The Chief Minister had a productive meeting with the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, in New Delhi to discuss various state-related issues, including the progress of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) projects and the Parvatmala Project’s ropeways.

Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu emphasized the need to speed up four-lane projects and construct flyovers to reduce traffic congestion, improve inter-state connectivity, and enhance the tourist experience. The Union Minister was receptive to these proposals and assured the Chief Minister of his support and cooperation.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of allocating funds for the repair work of National Highways in preparation for the approaching tourism season. He expressed gratitude for the Union Minister’s positive approach towards the state and extended an invitation for him to visit in the near future.

The meeting was attended by PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh, CPS Sunder Singh Thakur, Sanjay Awasthi, Vice Chairman of the State Tourism Development Board R.S. Bali, and MLA Kewal Singh Pathania, who were all encouraged by the productive discussions and positive outcomes.
