At the Next@Acer event, Acer has unveiled four new Chromebooks – Acer Chromebook 515, Acer Chromebook Spin 514, Acer Chromebook Spin 314 (with 11th Gen Intel Core processors), and Acer Chromebook 514 (with MediaTek Kompanio 828 processors) – made by keeping in mind the needs of the customers, students, ranging from home and business users to hybrid workers. This new Acer’s line-up is equipped with the latest processor and top-notch features.
Acer Chromebook 515: The home office range-topper
The Acer Chromebook 515 (CB515-1W/T) is designed mainly for home desks. It has a 15.6-inch FHD IPS (1920×1080) display and a superior aluminum cover and reinforced design that is both protective and sleek. It is powered with an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor. This Chromebook is both powerful and quiet, with a fan-free design. It offers 10 hours of battery life but is quite heavy at 1.7 Kg.
Up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of NVMe memory are optional as well. It features dual microphones and an integrated smart amplifier that improves the speakers’ sound for louder and clearer. DTS Audio also provides a more enhanced sound experience.
It has MIL-STD-810H certification and provides additional features such as Corning GorillaGlass touchpad, a backlit-keyboard, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, Intel Wi-Fi 6(Gig+), HDMI, and a microSD- card slot.

Acer Chromebook 515 (CB515-1W/T) will be available in Europe in October starting at €499. And its Enterprise model will be available in North America in January 2022 starting at $649.99, and in Europe in October starting at €799.
Acer Chromebook 514: Powered by MediaTek
Acer Chromebook 514 has a compact and highly portable design. It has a 14-inch matte display (multi-touch optional) and weighs 1.3Kg. It has a top aluminum design and a Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad for seamless navigation. In contrast to its Intel-coated siblings, 514 is powered with MediaTek Komppania 828 processor. It offers up to 8 GB RAM and 128GB eMMC storage.
It is claimed to have the best battery of about 15 hours life among its peers. It supports rapid charging and charges up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It also includes two USB-C ports, a USB-A port, an HDMI, DTS audio, a backlit keyboard, and a microSD slot.

Acer Chromebook Spin 514: A punchy convertible
Acer Chromebook Spin 514 is compact and has a convertible design that allows users to make its best use by converting it into the form (use a laptop or tablet) they need. It features a 14-inch FHD display and is powered with an 11th Gen Intel Core I7-1180G7. It offers up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage.
To provide the best audio and video conferencing experience it has two speakers facing upwards and an FHD MIPI webcam with blue glass filters respectively. It offers upto10 hours of battery life. It has a sleek aluminum design and carries a MIL-STD-810 durability rating. It also includes DTS audio, Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad, USB Type-C ports, Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), and a backlit keyboard.

Acer Chromebook Spin 514 (CP514-2H) will be available in North America in January 2022 starting at $699.99, and in Europe in October starting at €799. Its Enterprise model will be available in North America in December starting at $899.99, and in Europe in October starting at €1,049.
Acer Chromebook Spin 314: For budget buyers
Acer Chromebook Spin 314 is the best for budget buyers. This convertible Chromebook has a 14-inch display available with a 1,366 x 768 or 1,920 x 1.080 panel. It weighs 1.55 Kg and offers 10 hours of battery life. It features a unique OceanGlass made up of plastic waste. It supports dual microphones and DTS audio.
For connectivity, it features two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Type-C port, 2×2 MU-MIMO, an HDMI, a Wi-Fi 6, and a MicroSD slot.
Pricing and Availability
Acer Chromebook Spin 314 is expected to be priced at $499 and €499. It is most likely to be available in North America from December and in Europe from November.
Other Products
Along with unveiling these four new Chromebooks, Acer has also introduced the €3,599.00 ConceptD 7 SpatialLabs Edition laptop, which features 11th Gen Intel Core H-series processors and a variety of graphics options. It uses AI to automatically convert and display 2D content into stereoscopic 3D, such as videos, images, simple games, and the webcam feed.
A 15.6-inch version of the ConceptD 3 Ezel and a 16:10 version of the ConceptD 3 were also announced.
Lastly, Acer has expanded its portfolio in Antimicrobial Products by unveiling durable antimicrobial devices like Acer Enduro Urban N3 laptop and Enduro Urban T3 tablet; Acer TravelMate Spin P4, a business-grade antimicrobial convertible laptop; a 23.6-inch Acer VE246Q antimicrobial monitor that is both eye-friendly and earth-friendly; Acer Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse KM501 for Chromebooks; and the Acer eco-shell jacket, made from the extracts of spent coffee grounds.
