Solar Ash, Outer Wilds Expansion, and Everything else announced at Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2021

On Thursday, Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2021 – its first games showcase – take place in the publisher of well-regarded sleeper hits like Sayonara Wild Hearts and Maquette, made some announcements about many upcoming games like The Artful Escape, Stray, Solar Ash along with one of the most exciting announcements from developer Mobius, about the Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye, the first and only expansion of the game, set to release on September 28th, 2021 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

So, without wasting any time let’s talk about everything that was announced during the Annapurna Interactive Showcase.

The Artful Escape

The long-awaited The Artful Escape is coming on September 9th for Xbox and PC. Annapurna Interactive has also unveiled the game’s cast, which includes Michael Johnston, Caroline Kinley, Lena Headey, Jason Schwartzman, Mark Strong, and Carl Weathers. Check out the trailer given below:

Neon White

The unique Nintendo Switch and PC title “Neon White” is described as “a lightning-fast first-person action game about exterminating demons in Heaven.” Coming from the developer Ben Esposito it is a follow-up to the Donut County and will relsease this winter. A new gameplay trailer was revealed, check it out.

A Memoir Blue

Another new game announced during the showcase, A Memoir Blue tells a story of a mother and daughter through “memories cherished and memories suppressed.” Developed by indie studio Cloisters, it will release at some point for iOS, Nintendo Switch, Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox (Xbox Game Pass). Storyteller

Another new game is Storyteller, a puzzle game in which players put together stories using characters, settings, and emotions. It will release soon for Nintendo Switch and Steam, till then you can check the Steam demo now available, and its trailer is shown below:

Solar Ash

Solar Ash is coming on October 26th to PlayStation and PC. This game is the latest title from developer Heart Machine, which previously worked on Hyper Light Drifter. The trailer is given below:

Skin Deep

Skin Deep is coming to PC (Steam) and is a strange-looking first-person shooter with an emphasis on stealth. A new gameplay trailer was revealed, check it out below:

Stray

A third-person game “Stary,” is set to release in early 2022 for PC and Playstation, in which players undertake the role of a cat in a cyberpunk setting. A new gameplay trailer was revealed, check it out:

Additionally, Annapurna Interactive announced that:

  • ‘Gorogoa’ and ‘Telling Lies’ will both come to Xbox Game Pass in the future.
  • The Pathless will release for Steam on November 16.
  • ‘I Am Dead’ will arrive on August 9th, and coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox.
  • In the end, ‘What Remains of Edith Finch’ is heading to the App Store on November 16th.
