At its Nintendo Direct September 2021, the company revealed updates about the new Kirby game, gave us our first look at Bayonetta 3 along with some surprises and Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.

Kirby And The Forgotten Land
Kirby and The Forgotten Land will feature a new adventure in a mysterious world that gives off some post-apocalypse vibes through 3D landscapes. While Kirby exploring the forgotten land he will encounter many enemies that he can copy to fight with them. To play this game you have to wait until Spring 2022.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak
Capcom officially announced the first trailer for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, which is a massive expansion coming in Summer 2022. This new expansion including new elements to enhance the experience for players, new hunting, quests rank, stories, monsters, locales, and more.
Mario Party Superstars
Mario Party Superstars, which is all set to come on October 29, 2021, got new gameplay showcasing the five boards from Nintendo 64 Mario Party games like Woody Woods, Yoshi’s Tropical Island, and Horror Land. Nintendo Switch confirmed that all mini-games will support online play.
Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars
Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is a new game in which everything is represented as cards even from heroes to villains on the tabletop. Battle will also occur with a new style: turn-based card in which players need to have skills plus luck. Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is all set to release on October 28, with both pre-orders and a demo available today.
Bayonetta 3
At the Nintendo Direct event, we got the first and all-new look at Bayonetta 3, for which fans are eagerly waiting for the past 4 years. The iconic witch is coming with a new look and the ability to control demons. There will be some new characters similar to Vergil from Devil May Cry. Fans have to wait until 2022 for its release.
Splatoon 3
Splatoon 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in 2022 and got new gameplay showcasing the ‘Return of Mammalians’ single-player campaign. There are new looks, fresh power-ups, weapons, traversal mechanics for the game.
Triangle Strategy
Square Enix’s tactical RPG “Project Triangle Strategy” is now called “Triangle Strategy” which will be coming to Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022. After its demo survey, the developing team has been working on its difficult options, the adjustable camera features, visuals, the option to see the previous dialogue, and the loading time.
Metroid Dread
Next, we got a new story trailer ahead of Metroid Dread’s release on October 8, 2021. And we are sure that this new trailer will make you more excited about Samus Embark’s new adventure.
Stars Wars: Knight of the Old Republic
After it announced the full remake, Aspyr has now revealed that the original Stars Wars: Knight of the Old Republic will be coming to Nintendo Switch o November 11, 2021.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion
Nintendo Switch Online will soon sign up for expansion membership which will be including N64 and Sega Genesis games. The Nintendo 64 games like Super Mario 64, Starfox, Sin and Punishment, Mario Tennis 64, and more games will be in this membership pack. And from Sega Genesis games like Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Golden Axe, and more. All of this will be available to you for $49.99 each from October 2021.
Nintendo has also confirmed that Kirby: Crystal Shards, Zelda: Majora’s Mask, F-Zero X, Mario Gold, the original Pokemon Snap, Paper Mario, Banjo Kazooie, and more are to be added later
Other Announcements in Nintendo Direct
- Dying Light 2 will arrive on Switch on February 4, 2022, as a Cloud version, with a free demo on the same day. Dying Light: Platinum Edition will bring the original game to Switch on October 19, 2021, as well
- Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun Dragonfall – Director’s Cut, and Shadowrun Hong Kong – Extended Edition coming to Switch in 2022
- Castlevania Advance Collection – Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and Castlevania: Dracula X – is now available on Switch
- Actraiser Renaissance, a Remastered Version of SNES’ Actraiser, is now out on Switch
- Deltarune Chapter 2 is now available on Switch
- Disney Magical World 2: Enchanted Edition will arrive in Holiday 2021 and includes all the DLC from the original 3DS version.
- Mario Golf: Super Rush getting new characters – Koopa Troopa and Ninji – and new courses
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons will get its own direct in October with new content is coming in November
- Chocobo GP, a Final Fantasy Racing Game which allows up to 64 players to compete is coming to Switch in 2022
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass will be released on October 29, 2021
- Disco Esylum: The Final Cut will arrive on Switch on October 12
- The voice cast for Super Mario Movie, which is set to release on December 21, 2022, includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Seth Rogan as Donkey Kong.
