Forza Horizon 5
There is no confirmation yet but still, we know that the new Forza Motorsport is under development for the Xbox Series X or we may be lucky that we will soon be welcoming a new Horizon game. The more exciting part of this news is that it may be possible that before the next Motorsport installment, we’ll get to play a new Horizon game even though Horizon has not yet announced the news.

GameBeat journalist Jeff Grubb said recently on the Xbox Empire podcast that it was seen Forza Motorsport get teased a few months ago but he thinks that we will get the next Forza Horizon game first and it will be as soon as this coming year. He also cleared the ground for the company as it seemed to him that they may be ready to announce and he knows the setting but let the company get the uppercut at announcing the news.
It was discovered over the summers in the Xbox Games Showcase broadcast that Forza Motorsport is coming to Xbox Series X. It was a phenomenal trailer showcasing fantastic cars and tracks and was reportedly all in-engine footage. But still, the trailer being in the market, there is no release date given for the racing game from Turn 10.

Forza Horizon 4 was a must-own for Xbox Series X as despite being a 2018 launch, Playground Games has done such a good job optimizing its open-world racing game. It is available for purchase in native 4K and now at 60 frames per second through Xbox Game Pass, giving a playing experience better than ever on Xbox.
Though Forza Horizon 4 was already the best racing game of the Xbox One era now with its higher fidelity graphics, faster performance, and increased reflection, shadow, and particle effects quality has transformed its form for Xbox Series X. The upcoming racing games of the new generation has already a certain level to beat for gaining popularity.

And now with news of Forza Horizon 5 potentially coming soon into play before Forza Motorsport 8 may be a little weird news but makes sense. And it seems like if there is anybody who could get up to speed quickly on Xbox Series X/S is Playground Games due to their expansive ideas. Motorsports has come into popularity due to the Horizon series. Forza Horizon 5 will be greatly boosted by Microsoft as a major tentpole AAA title but Forza Motorsport 8 may be under wait.
