After launching its new super mid-range Honor 50 series with Google Services earlier this year, the company has now announced its first flagship series – Honor Magic 3 series – after the separation from its parent company Huawei. The Honor Magic 3 series consists of three smartphones – Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro, and Magic 3 Pro Plus – which will launch first in China and will then probably get a global release date later.

Each smartphone in the Magic 3 series shares some common specs and comes with Google’s apps and services, which were earlier not present when Honor was under Huawei. So let’s take a look at the specs and features of each device.

Specs and feautres of Honor Magic 3 Series

Processor and Display

Both Honor Magic 3 Pro and Honor Magic 3 Pro Plus are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 Plus Processor, whereas Honor Magic 3 has a Snapdragon 888 processor. The Magic 3 has 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage, where the Magic 3 Pro packs 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage, and the Magic 3 Pro Plus comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Talking about the display, all three smartphones share the same 6.76-inch curved OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 2772 x 1344p resolution, and HDR10+. The Magic 3 (IP54 certification) and Magic 3 Pro (IP68 certification) feature glass and vegan leather finishes, whereas the Honor Magic 3 Pro Plus has a Nano Crystal ceramic back panel, and also offers IP68 certifications.

All three devices run on Honor’s Magic UI 5 skin on top of Android 11 (with “at least” two Android OS updates) and support stereo speakers, a triple-mic setup, and a USB Type-C port. For connectivity, the devices offer 5G support, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC.
