Nintendo Thanks Fans For their patience
Nintendo announced on Tuesday that further free content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is being developed and will be released later this year, with more specifics to follow. Nintendo thanked Animal Crossing fans on Twitter for their support and patience.
Nintendo stated on Twitter that New Horizons will receive a free update on July 29 that will include weekly fireworks shows and new seasonal goodies. The promise of more improvements to come, as well as Nintendo’s acknowledgment of Animal Crossing supporters’ patience, is noteworthy.
Fans Reaction
Fans of Animal Crossing have voiced dissatisfaction with the lack of substantial material and game mechanics in New Horizons, which were featured in prior games but are still absent. Nintendo’s most recent Direct presentation, from June, didn’t reveal any fresh information about New Horizons’ future. With more than 32 million copies sold to date, fans have come to expect a lot more from Nintendo than just a seasonal item update.
According to Nintendo’s Japanese website, players will be able to purchase a limited-time Eggplant Cow and Cucumber Horse, drink boba tea, and watch custom-made fireworks patterns in the following weeks.
