OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Limited Edition Watch Faces Leaked

You must have seen the OnePlus Watch, the one that brought along some debate about the potentially false claims while advertising just after it was launched. And while the watch is getting several software tweaks to get it to work as promised, OnePlus might have hinted in a recent OnePlus Health app update that the company is working on a special edition model based on the Harry Potter series, which could launch shortly and is expected to be called the “OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Limited Edition.”

First spotted by Oxygen Updater, a recent app update hints that OnePlus might launch a OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Edition in the market soon, in hopes to invite more consumers. Launched beside the OnePlus 9 series in March, the OnePlus Watch is a high-end fitness tracker that resembles a smartwatch.

Oxygen Updater spotted some strings that mention “Harry Potter Limited Edition”. And after further digging, they discovered a few unique watch faces from the current version of the OnePlus Health app on the play store. The app is stocked with watch faces themed after “Hogwarts, Hogwarts Sheild, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.” Unfortunately, the leak by Oxygen Updater does not reveal anything about the watch’s exterior design.

There’s not much that can be predicted from these watch faces, aside from the fact that they all are themed after Harry Potter elements. This is OnePlus’ first attempt at doing a special edition smartwatch while OnePlus has already done a couple of special edition phones prior to this.

Surprisingly, the attached changelog of the app listed APK Mirror had no mention of Harry Potter, which signifies that it could take some time to officially launch. It’s unknown as of now, about what hardware changes the new OnePlus Watch model will have if any. But 9to5Google claims that this “OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Limited Edition” will be sold only in Asia, something that OnePlus has done with the watch’s Cobalt Edition.
