AR Spectacles
On Thursday, Snap introduced the next generation of spectacles and the company is claiming that they are going to change the game of augmented reality. The glasses are meant to demonstrate the kind of experiences that could one day be available to the masses.
As per Snap, these 134 grams lenses react quickly and appear accurately in your field of view with a 15-millisecond motion to photon latency, and the display dynamically adjusts up to 2000 Nits of brightness to explore AR indoors or outside with approximately 30 minutes per charge. Spectacles feature 2 RGB cameras, 4 built-in microphones, 2 stereo speakers, and a touchpad to provide a multi-sensorial experience. And to unlock the maximum processing power spectacles uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 Platform.
These next-gen spectacles are fully integrated with Lens Studio. Through this, creators can wirelessly push Lenses to Spectacles for rapid testing and iteration, in real-time.
