First, look at Sony’s next flagship phone “Xperia 1 III” which shows it might look as same as Mark II from the front but could get an interesting change on the back. As renders of Sony Xperia 1 III published on OnLeaks shows a squared-off camera at the bottom of the triple camera setup looking like a periscope lens design. If this periscope lens comes out to be true then it will allow this Xperia to have 5x or more optical reach without losing the image quality.
OnLeaks also states that the Xperia 1 III will include 5G, which is now a kind of priority for any flagship phone to have in 2021. And for the rest of the phone, Sony seems to be sticking with its classic design approach. With Mark III to get a 6.5-inch OLED display (with very thin bezels), which will have the tall cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio and 4K resolution.
If you can see in the above images the Xperia 1 III will have front-firing stereo speakers on the top and bottom bezels of the screen. And also the 3.5mm headphone jack with microSDXC card slot onboard — a very rare combination you can see among flagships in 2021.
Mark III won’t be featuring an in-display fingerprint and will have a fingerprint built into the power button on the side. in order of looks, the phone will have a metal frame with squared-off edges with the back made of glass.
With all this Sony’s next flagship phone “Xperia 1 III” is expected to arrive on February 28, 2021, with a price tag of $1,200 (around Rs. 84,800).
