After launching the iconic Nokia 3310 way back in 2000, HMD Global has now revealed the new Nokia XR20 Rugged 5G smartphone, the company claims it to be a smartphone for which you will not need a mobile case forever. With its bold design, Nokia is also promising longevity by providing the latest software updates – 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of monthly security updates. Nokia XR20 will be made available in the US and UK on August 24th for $549 (with starting price in India could be Rs. 25,000).
Specs of Nokia XR20
To give rugged durability mid-ranger Nokia XR20 smartphone comes with Gorilla Glass Victus which is the toughest screen yet on Nokia smartphones. It also follows the MIL-STD 810H standards like the ability to resist temperatures from 131 degrees F (55 degrees C) down to -7.6 degrees F (-22 degrees C) and protection from drops from 5.9 feet (1.8 meters). The device is also rated with IP68 as it can resist submersion in 4.9 feet (1.5 meters) of water for up to an hour. Meaning you can even wash the phone with soap and water if you want to.
With all of this Nokia XR20 looks like a normal smartphone but I wonder if even The Rock can break it easily.
However, HMD global has shared a clip of XR20 testing, which you can see below:

Under the hood, it features a Snapdragon 480 SoC and 5G modem coupled with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, 4,630mAH battery, and has the ability of Qi Wireless charging.
