Epic Games always seeks to enhance Fortnite with new content, crafts, animals, and events. Concerning that, they have done some changes, which are revealed by a leak of Fortnite Season 7, showcasing a new artistic look at open-world game mode or spin-off that could be coming soon.
Earlier some leaks have revealed (through the Epic Games vs Apple lawsuit) that the developers are planning to take battle royale to the first open-world sandbox mode. But now a leak from iFireMonkey (via Dexerto) reveals that Epic Games has updated Fortnite’s code on August 10, which further contains a new artwork for the upcoming open-world spinoff or game mode.
The iFireMonkey leaks the new artwork through his Twitter account and you can see it below its first look:
The above tweet showcases four characters standing together waiting for an incoming attack with different weapons. These characters are Peely holding a mystical wand, Jonesy with a sword, Fishstick with a spear and shield, and Cuddle Team with a bow and arrow. With a closer look, you can see that there is a giant monkey in the background with some temple POIs or landmarks. Although it is confusing that for what these warriors are waiting for.
When asked by many fans of Fortnite about the new artwork they say it represents the open-world or survival RPG modes. Probably we can’t say much until Epic Games announce something officially related to it.
After battle royale success, this could be a great step to come with a brand new game. But to know if that’s the case or not, we have to wait until it is officially announced and get success.
