Corsair MP600 Pro XT Gen4 PCIe x4 NVMe M.2 is a new upgraded version of the MP600 Pro, that can reach up to 7,100 MBps in sequential read speeds and up to 6800 MBps in sequential write speeds. Also, MP600 Pro XT is backward-compatible with PCIe Gen3 and comes in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB flavors, with a price tag of $199.99, $399.99, and $989.99 respectively.

To deal with the higher heat output generated by this new Gen 4 SSD, due to its high speed, Corsair has equipped MP600 Pro XT with a newly refreshed matte-black aluminum heatsink outfitted with eight tall fins. This time heatsink is taller than the original MP600 (with a height of 19 mm), to ensure that M.2 slots are located in spacious areas which would not let the SSD interfere with any other hardware, especially on mini ITX setups.

It is also available with a water block, named Corsair MP600 Pro XT Hydro X Edition which comes in 2TB and 4TB models for $10-$25 extra. The SSD supports CORSAIR SSD Toolbox software and includes a five-year warranty.

Tolerance ratings for the MP600 Pro XT start at 700 TBW for the 1TB version, 1400 TBW for the 2TB, and up to 3,000 TBW for the 4TB variant and it comes with an endurance rating of 1.6 million hours. The SSD offers maximum random read speeds at up to 1M IOPS and up to 1.2M IOPS for random write speeds.

The Corsair MP600 Pro XT is available on many retail platforms, including Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, and Corsair’s own store.
