Nowadays, Advancement technology leads to the development of new AI pricing systems. For the reduction of food waste, but still, new technology is in the trial period. After working on the system since 2016, Wasteless is about to trial its software with Metro, a company that operates 678 wholesale grocery stores in 2 countries globally (via Engadget). 

About Wasteless

Loaded Omer and Yossi Regev, are the founders of this technology in 2016. Wasteless help in reducing food waste is super marketing thus indirectly fighting against global warming. About 40% of food ends up in landfills and which emits a large number of Co2. 

Wasteless machine-learning: The main aim of this startup is to help repair the food system through efficient supply change management. It eradicated food waste in retail. It implements food waste reduction. At least 40% of companies have confidence that this number will climb to 80%. Development of AI – engines capabilities (reinforcement learning). The purpose is a drag on a grocer’s to the bottom line.

As an active partner and consultant to the project, NX-Food introduced Wasteless to METRO and currently facilitates integration with METRO sales systems, Makro Poland, tech-unit teams of METRO Digital and METRO AG. Aligns to NX-Food, established in early 2018 within the metro, was announced as an independent company in October 2020, thus providing additional confidence with the wholesaler METRO, which operates in 34 different countries and past. Produces €25.6 billion in sales in the financial year.

In the US alone, the Department of Agriculture estimates that 30 to 40 percent of food ends up in landfills. This is an economic problem, with food waste will be one of the leading causes of greenhouse gas production. Wasteless Thinking can play a role in addressing a startup issue called machine learning. The company has developed an AI-powered system to automatically reduce the price of whole foods as they spend more time on store shelves.

AI pricing system in Poland

After working on the system, Wasteless works with its software Metro, a company that operates wholesale grocery stores in 24 countries globally. Two plans were launched to introduce the technology to Metro’s macro stores in Poland before being deployed to other markets. Vain claims that its system reduces food waste in grocery stores by at least 40 percent. Over the next few years, the company believed that it can increase the number of its technology.
