UserBenchmark gave an outstanding score to the upcoming ‘RDN2’ workstation graphics card ‘Radeon Pro W6800’ with 32GB of memory. AMD’s new GPU is based on Navi, which is the codename for AMD’S upcoming GPU architecture. The latest Navi GPU Radeon Pro graphics cards are aimed at CAD/CAM and DCC professionals.
The AMD Radeon Pro W6800 32GB has hit 146% of the average effective GPU speed whereas Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2080 Super has 138% and GeForce RTX 3070 with 152%. AMD’s Radeon RX 6800 XT has recorded scores between 152% and 171%.
As from a single benchmark score, it is difficult to predict the specifications of the upcoming AMD’s Radeon Pro W6800 32GB graphics card. We can expect that the new graphics card would have more memory on board, which would provide higher performance in high resolutions as compared to the gaming adapter. The leaked benchmark of Pro W6800 32GB demonstrates that AMD is set to release its RDNA2-based cards for CAD, CAM, and DCC users.
As we know UserBenchmark gives a general benchmark for casual users, but this benchmark about Radeon Pro W6800 32GB gives us no idea about the performance of the graphics card in professional applications.
