New VivoBook Flip 14 (TP470EZ) laptop has been revealed by Asus powered by Intel’s 11th Generation Tiger Lake processor and unreleased DG1 discrete graphics card.

As per the product page of the VivoBook Flip 14, Asus has made the device with fitting the “First Intel Discrete Graphics”, with rumors floating that this Intel’s DG1 discrete graphics card will have 96 EUs.
VivoBook Flip 14 was explored by diving into the HTML code showing metadata which reads that the latest Intel Core i7 processor will be powering VivoBook Flip 14 accompanied by the Intel Iris Xe Max graphics.
The Intel Iris Xe Max graphics were already on the heat beforehand along with 96 EUs ticking up to 1.55 GHz. Two Xe GPUs have also been noted in other leaks running in a dual-GPU setup. Tiger Lake iGPUs have another theory which is not confirmed yet that they could conceptually function in tandem with DG1 to provide even greater performance than what a sole DG1 unit could offer.
Two Processor Choice
Two Tiger Lake options are provided with VivoBook Flip 14 with a choice of picking between Core i7-1165G7 or the Core i5-1135G7 processors. Although both the chips come with eight-thread and quad-core configurations. Own Iris Xe graphics engine is provided in Core i7-1165G7 or Core i5-1135G7 processors. 96 EUs and 80EUs are possessed by the 10nm processors respectively with a maximum of 1.3 GHz.
The processor Core i7-1165G7 is supported with a 4.7 GHz boost clock, 2.8 GHz base clock, and a 12 MB cache while on the other hand Core i7-1135G7 has been featured with 4.2 GHz boost clock, 2.4 GHz base clock, and an 8 MB of L3 cache. Only one of the two processors comes equipped with an Image Processing Unit (IPU) i.e. Core i7-1165G7.
Memory for VivoBook Flip 14
The memory of the Tiger Lake processor of your preference can be accompanied by 8 GB or 16 GB of LPDDR4X-4266 memory. Although the thought of yours that expansion in near future could be possible is not available, so be wise with your choice.
SSD option of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512GB, or 1TB PCIe come with VivoBook Flip 14. Intel Optane Memory H10 drive with 32GB plus a 512GB SSD is offered as an optional configuration by Asus.
Resolutions & Dimensions
2-in-1 VivoBook Flip 14 is a slim device that has screen dimensions of 12.75 x 8.66 x 0.73 inches (32.4 x 22 x 1.87cm) and weighing around 1.5kg (3.31 pounds). Indie Black exterior is featured in the laptop and a 14-inch LED-backlit panel with a resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080).
An Impressive 82% screen-to-body ratio is flaunted by the frameless NanoEdge display with a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees. An HD webcam was also fitted by ASUS to this screen.
Connectivity Ports
The connectivity of VivoBook Flip 14 is not to be considered an issue with the svelte body. It is accompanied by one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one USB 2.0 port, offers one Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, an HDMI port, an audio jack, and a microSD card reader.
But no Ethernet port is provided in the VivoBook, so the only reliability is the wireless connection. Although the VivoBook Flip 14 will be configuring itself with Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 5 Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, so no such complaints on that part.
Battery specs
The battery of the VivoBook Flip 14 is kept care by Asus by integrating a three-cell, lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 42 Wh. Fast Charging is also supported by VivoBook Flip 14 and is included with a 65W power adapter which can help it go from zero to 60% in a mere 49 minutes.
Pricing and Availability of the VivoBook Flip 14 are not revealed by Asus yet, so we need to wait a bit longer.
