Rocket League is a vehicular soccer video game by Psyonix released in July 2015, it widely available from popular consoles to PC. And this wide range might smartphones. As the court battle between Apple and Epic has discovered many emails and documents which even includes that the latter is planning to bring the full Rocket League experience to smartphones. We had earlier heard about the side-scrolling Rocket League: Sideswipe coming to mobile.
In mid-2020 The Verge uploaded the Epic’s plan for 2021, in which it was not specified that when the game would be fully released but Rocket League mobile public beta is planned for Q2 2021.
The Beta version will be part of Rocket League “Next,” which is a ‘next-generation client’ that allows cross-play and cross-progress across all platforms which would now available on mobile.
This game won’t cost as much as Sideswipe, which is known as Rocket League rebuilt for touch controls. As per Android Police, the game could launch earlier this year after it held a limited alpha in Australia and New Zealand.
Now, it would be interesting to see that Epic and its subsidiary Psyonix can pull off a mobile version of the game.
