New features and enhancements

Grove Street Games have made numerous enhancements made to Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas without losing the original aesthetic. In the remastered edition, we are going to get a Grant Theft Auto 5 controller layout. In a fresh look, we saw a new lighting system, improved characters, and environmental upgrades. It has updated weapons, Radio Station selection wheels, and vehicle models. It improves in terms of targeting and lock-on aiming.

The mini-maps are also updated and we can set waypoints, which is not something you could do in the older gameplay. We will also see updated achievements, trophies, and higher resolutions across the buildings. To provide you with more clarity, it features smooth surfaces and increased draw distances. GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has improved a lot in terms of weather, reflections, and shadows.

Some platforms will showcase certain nuances like the PC version coming up with Nvidia DLSS support and Nintendo Switch includes Gyro-aiming and the touch screen to zoom game and menu.
