Poor Saitama remains unknown in the real world, facing difficulties in recognition by the audience, which has led to shut down the servers of this game. Bandai Namco announced this sad news via a tweet stating that the One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows multiplayer server will see a sunset on February 28, 2022 (just two years after it was first launched). The tweet also mentions that offline game modes, along with 1vs1 online matches, will remain accessible to play.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows multiplayer servers will sunset on February 28, 2022. All offline game modes, along with online 1vs1 game matches, will still be available for play.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a 3D fighting game with its concept based on One Punch Man manga and anime. The game was released on various platforms like PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One worldwide on February 28, 2020. According to Metacritic, the game had a score of 57 on PlayStation 4 and 59 on Xbox One.

Not much change in number is seen in the steam rating as the game didn’t amass more than 16 concurrent players in the last 30 days. It had a maximum of 586 players that too 17 months ago.

And as a result, its online multiplayer servers will close on February 28, 2022. With the game having a title suitable to the situation: A hero nobody knows.
