Resident Evil Village’s PC system requirements are here, with Re: Verse open beta starting on April 8

The eighth installment in the Resident Evil franchise “Resident Evil Village” is coming to the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadio on May 7th, 2021. And with just six weeks left in its release, Capcom has revealed the official PC requirements for its survival horror game “Resident Evil Village”, along with the specs to run the game with Ray Tracing on both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, so that we can all get chased around by a nine-foot and six inches tall vampire
“Lady Dimitrescu”.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE

• OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)

• Processor: Intel Core i5-7500/AMD Ryzen 3 1200

• Memory: 8 GB RAM

• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 560 both with 4GB VRAM

• DirectX: Version 12

RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE

• OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)

• Processor: Intel Core i7 8700/AMD Ryzen 5 3600

• Memory: 16 GB RAM

• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 5700

• DirectX: Version 12

In both the minimum and recommended specifications, framerate drops might still occur in graphics-intensive scenes, as per devlopers.

4K DISPLAY SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE

There’s is no official word on the game’s install size just yet, but its PC listing is expected to have a free Resident Evil Re: Verse multiplayer game and a day-one patch. And according to the Biohazard Official, an RE:Verse open beta is scheduled for PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. With preloading begins April 5, and starting on April 8, it will end on April 11. 

Resident Evil Village is releasing on Steam on May 7, along with consoles. With Google giving a free Stadia Premiere kit to anyone who preorders Resident Evil Village before May 21st, the offer is available for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions of Resident Evil Village priced at $60 and $70, respectively.
