Xbox has won Twitter’s first-ever #BestOfTweet Brand Bracket Championship and, after a promise from Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg, will be manufacturing Xbox Series X Mini Fridges for the general public. In this championship fight, Xbox faced off against Skittles and came out on top by only 1% after 341,731 votes. When it came down to the wire, Greenberg attempted to rally Xbox fans by stating that if the company prevailed, real Xbox Series X Mini Fridges would be made.

Thanks to everyone who voted, this was down to the wire and thrilling to follow. Now that @Xbox won, we will move forward on our promise to make those Xbox Series X Mini Fridges. First one off the line will be filled with games & headed to our friends @Skittles of course! 💚🌈 https://t.co/xeeN8yLGV8

This is the latest chapter in the Xbox Series X Fridge story, which started when Microsoft compared the size of its next-gen console to that of a refrigerator, perhaps as a reference to those like Niko Partners’ Daniel Ahmad and as an example of why it won this contest. It didn’t stop there: Microsoft sent Snoop Dogg and iJustine an Xbox Series X Fridge and held a sweepstake for fans to win one of these magnificent kitchen appliances inspired by the Xbox Series X.

The one.

The only.

Greenberg thanked everyone for voting and said that the “first [Xbox Series X Mini Fridge] would be packed with games and headed to our friends @Skittles of course!” \ after the win. Skittles attempted a similar battle cry by promising to bring back lime skittles, but it seems that the allure of an Xbox-shaped fridge won out.

“Congratulations to @Xbox on the win,” Skittles wrote on Twitter. “Definitely a tough one, but a HUGE thanks to all of our friends, family, fans and #mcyt for rallying for SKITTLES. We love you all! (but what are we going to do with all these non-refundable limes we ordered? If only we had a fridge).”
