Google is working on its first smartwatch “Google Pixel Watch”, which is likely to be released in October 2021. And ahead of its launch tech insider and tipster Jon Prosser has shared some render images of the Pixel Watch showing off every angle of a round smartwatch. Pixel Watch is expected to come in different casing options and at least 20 different watch bands with different color options.
Reputed leaker and tipster Jon Prosser has shared the new details about the long-awaited Google Pixel Watch (internally codenamed as Rohan) through a Youtube video embedded below. The video shows the watch, digitally illustrated and rendered by artist Ian Zelbo (@RendersByIan) from every angle. Keep in mind that Ian Zelbo has created these images by using details provided to Prosser by an insider and are not the official Google-made creations.
Jon Prosser didn’t have any technical specs related to the watch, despite the renders which give us our first real at what Pixel Watch could look like. Talking in little depth of it, Pixel Watch will have a circular bezel-less display, a single physical crown button on the right edge (power/ function key) giving it an analog timepiece look. The watch is expected to have Black and Silver case designs with at least 20 different strap options.
Additionally, the smartwatch will come with Google’s WearOS, along with other Google apps and services like navigation, search, etc, and will also have Google Assistant support. As for the UI part, Google is targeting a more elegant minimalist design.
And if Prosser’s intel is to be believed Google will unveil the Pixel Watch, a rival of the upcoming Apple Watch 7 and recently launched OnePlus Watch, sometime in October this year along with Pixel 6. Till then we recommend you take these render/images with a pinch of salt.
