Recently at Computex 2021, AMD announced three mobile graphics cards – AMD Radeon RX 6700M, RX 6800M, and RX 6600M based on the Navi GPUs. Until now, RX 6800M graphic card is integrated into laptops which are available only in the U.S., but in his latest tweet @rogame has revealed that AMD is testing RX 6700M in laptops and has also shared some benchmarks of RX 6700M graphics card as a desktop RX 6700 XT model.
AMD Radeon RX 6700M Graphics Card
AMD Radeon RX 6700M graphic card benchmarks are leaked by @rogame through his Twitter account (via VideoCardz). His tweet shows two entries of RX 6700M in the 3D Mark database in which it is listed as a desktop RX 6700 XT model, but it’s most likely that it is definitely not the RX 6700 XT or its desktop model. The leaked 10GB Radeon RX 6700M is paired up with the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX which means it is in a laptop.
In the leaked benchmarks RX 6700M with 10GB memory achieves a score of 8628 in Time Spy and 27062 in Fire Strike(performance). The scores are of the same laptop in which GPU average Clock Speed is between 1945 to 1887 MHz.
In addition, @rogame also shows a performance comparison chart of RX 6700M with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and RX 6800M. For comparison, AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor laptop is used. Radeon RX 6700 M is better than GeForce RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 in fire strike comparison. But in time spy comparison RX 6700 M does not perform well in comparison to RTX 3070 and RTX 3060.
Radeon RX 6700M is based on the Navi(RDNA 2) 22 GPU which has 2304 stream processors. RX 6700M integrated with 10GB of GDDR6 memory and its address but is of 160 bits. The total graphic power (TGP) on the card is 135W which is equivalent to NVIDIA RTX 3070.
So far AMD does not announce Radeon RX 6700M is featuring on laptops and when it will going to be available in the market. There is a possibility that AMD partner with MSI to launch Bravo/Alpha featuring the SKU.
