There may be the confirmation for the announcement for January 14^th of Samsung Galaxy S21 but there won’t be much to speculate about, all thanks to detailed specs from WinFuture and a combination of various leaks. And forget about this, you can even pre-order it if you believe the details shared.

Resolution and Size

Many details have been leaked regarding the phone where the displays were used to be slightly curved around the device edges will now be changed to totally flat panels. Another leak suggests that the camera bump has been redesigned which will fuse into the edges of the phone. New details have been gathered by WinFuture which suggests that the slightly lower 2400 x 1080 screen resolution will be included in Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus which is in contrast to the 3200 x 1440 resolution present in their predecessors. But this is covered by the pixel density of 394 PPI for the 6.7-inch S21 Plus and 421 PPI for the 6.2-inch S21 with the 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rates similar to the predecessors.

The leaks also confirm the information regarding the camera’s present in S21 and S21 plus. As stated on the paper, camera modules are similar to the S20 and S20 Plus which had an f/1.8 26mm equivalent lens with optical stabilization and a 12-megapixel 1/1.76-inch sensor. The selfie camera of 10-megapixel and ultra-wide 12 megapixel seems to be unchanged.

There is a slight difference in the telephoto camera to the previous models as it is slightly smaller than the sensor used by the S20 devices which had a dimension of 1/1.72-inch and now it is 1/1.76-inch. The pixel size of 0.8 microns and 64-megapixel resolution is similar. S21 will offer 3x optical zoom with one wishing to go beyond this can use hybrid optical/digital zoom which could be possible due to folded optics which also stabilizes the telephoto camera.
