On January 14, Samsung will officially launch its newest range of Galaxy flagship phones, rumoured to be the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra, company confirmed by invitations to a new Galaxy Unpacked event. The tagline: “Welcome to the Everyday Epic.”
At the event, the company is widely expected to announce three new smartphones, successors to the Galaxy S20 series last year: a pair of matching S21 and S21 Plus phones (which are expected to be largely identical, except for size), and a more premium S21 Ultra model that will deliver even better specs and cameras, similar to its 2020 counterpart, in addition to a curved display and support for Samsung’s S-Pen stylus.
In the event teaser video, it seems clearly the camera module of the Galaxy S21 floating inside a translucent cube, there is not much to glean. But almost every detail of these new phones, including sharper animated GIFs of what those modules might look like, already seems to have leaked:
Samsung also seems to have a new Tile rival on the way to detect lost objects and a set of Galaxy Buds Pro wireless earbuds. We wouldn’t be surprised if either or both emerged alongside the latest phone lineup.
