Apple unveils 3 Graphic Card Modules for Mac Pro

Today, Apple and AMD have released three new W6900X graphics card modules for the Intel-based Mac Pro. The Radeon Pro W6800X MPX Module, Radeon Pro W6800X Duo MPX Module, and Radeon Pro W6900X MPX Module are among the new graphics card modules.

Apple claims that these new graphics modules (which are Apple exclusive only) can deliver up to 23 percent quicker performance in DaVinci Resolve and 84 percent faster performance in Octane X, as first reported by CNN’s Jake Krol on Twitter.

Existing Mac Pro owners will be able to upgrade their machines as well, as the modules will be available for individual purchase through Apple’s Online Store (price TBD). On the Apple Online Store, you may customize your new Mac Pro.
