Ubisoft’s big surprise at E3 2021 – Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a game based on James Cameron’s Avatar universe first announced in 2017. Ubisoft not only officially announced it but also released a magnificent trailer for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora at their conference, which is now slated to be released sometime in 2022. Ubisoft does not disclose such information but it will be available for multiple platforms like PC, PS5, Next-Gen, Luna, and Xbox Series X|S.

Details of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is going to be a first-person action-adventure game. It is developed by Massive Entertainment a Ubisoft Studio in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney. It is built using Ubisoft’s latest version of the Snowdrop engine. Frontiers of Pandora is going to launch in 2022 for multiple platforms like PC, Playstation 5, Next-Gen console, Amazon Luna, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia.

The trailer of the game reveals that players will step in as Navi and begin their journey across the Western Frontier which is never seen before as part of Pandora. The player will explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten them.

Ubisoft says this game has a new and standalone story apart from the existing Avatar Universe. But the character shown in the trailer has similar faces as in the movie. The trailer also doesn’t show much gameplay but fans are hoping it to come. But the trailer shows two sides of Pandoras one with a jungle where different avatars are living with different animals and the other side is of RDA forces with their giant forces.

Trailer of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora shows glimpses of the beautiful jungle with dangerous places also. This game is going to launch in 2022 for various platforms. You can pre-order it here. It is hoped by the fans this game would be better than James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game.
