Chicago Party Aunt, a famous Twitter account (@ChiPartyAunt), is about to debut on Netflix as an adult animated comedy series premiering on September 17th and will be produced by animation studio Titmouse.
This series will revolve around Diane Dunbrowski, who is voiced by Lauren Ash and goes by the philosophy, “If life gives you lemons, turn that sh*t into Mike’s Hard Lemonade.” Diane is the Chicago party aunty, who believes in partying all time and is also described as a fan of Chicago sports. Another character in the series will be Daniel voiced by Rory O’Malley, who spends his year-long vacay in Chicago with aunt Diane.
Gideon is the character in the story who is shown opening a salon in place of Diane’s favorite Barbershop. Gideon is a voice-over by RuPaul Charles. Characters joining the cast of this animation would be Mark, Diane’s husband, Bonney the control freak, and Diane’s coworker Tina. Mikey Diane’s son and his ex-husband Kurt would also be shown in this animation.
The voices of Jon Barinholtz, Katie rich, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Ike Barinholtz will be used as the voices of these characters.
Creator and executive producer of the series are Chris Witaske – the one who owns the Twitter account Chicago Party Aunt, Jon Barinholtz, Katie Rich. The series will be of 30-minutes and 16-episodes will be launching in 2 parts, reports Variety.
