Remedy Entertainment which has developed the 2019 action-adventure game Control, announced a new multiplayer Control spinoff title ‘Condor’. Remedy Entertainment is also focusing on a “future, bigger-budget Control game,” and has struck a deal with 505 Games for publishing both titles.
Originally Control had a weird story and tight gameplay, but this time it will include a multiplayer mode. The new title ‘Condor’ or Project Condor will be having a four-player cooperative player vs environment (PvE) game but there is no mention of any player vs player combat. Condor will be made available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The co-CEOs of Digital Bros Group, the company that operates the publisher, said in a statement that, “As a multiplayer game, this spinoff has the potential to engage the gaming community in the long run, contributing to 505 Games’ product revenue stream longer than traditional games.”
Remedy and 505 Games are also planning to expand the Control franchise with “bigger-budget games” whose more details will be given in the future. As if now no announcement has been made about the continuation or expansion of Control‘s story.
Till now, there is no information about the release date, price, or story beats of Project Condor and we are waiting for the same in the future.
