Hey readers, so finally the much-awaited Far Cry 6 will soon be launching on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, Epic Games, and Ubisoft Connect October 7 this year, which was originally supposed to arrive in February. Ubisoft has released the gameplay footage today and said more of the footage will be released from time to time till October.
FAR CRY 6 – New Gameplay Trailer
Talking about the trailer, the visuals are excellent. Looking from the mechanical standpoint it is quite solid and the trailer shows a lot of wild weapons like a gun, set pieces, various gameplay, exotic jungles of Esperanza and a lot of varied maps.
Far Cry 6 is set in Yara, a fictional version of Cuba, where you can control the main protagonist Dani Rojas (male or female as per your choice). This time this protagonist is voiced, improving the mistake done in the past by keeping the protagonist voiceless that was extremely disliked. Also, the trailer shows the villain Anton Castilo – played by Giancarlo Esposito – and his son Diego.
Moreover, Fangs of Hire Animal companions from Far Cry 5 are also there. The two-legged dog Chorizo and a gold tooth crocodile wearing a sick jacket can be recruited as companions.
According to Ubisoft Toronto’s lead gameplay designer David Grivel, he said that “This time the experience will be much better on next-gen platforms and mentions that new generation hardware will allow the game to run at 60 FPS and 4K.” He even sounded very confident about providing a well-optimized final product for all hardware.
We must tell you that the Far Cry 6 will be available via PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, XboxSeries X|S, and Google Stadia as soon as it is launched, and looking at the trailer it seems that the extended wait will be worth it in the end.
