Far Cry 6 Release Date has surfaced on Amazon India

The release date of Far Cry 6 on Amazon India has surfaced. Although the official release date is yet to be announced by Ubisoft, Amazon India already has one and it is in line with recent retail leaks. According to a vendor listing spotted by IGN India, Far Cry 6 has a release date of 30 April 2021. This is in accordance with NME’s recent report citing Proxis, the Dutch retailer, which also had the same date.

That said, we have reached out to many retailers in the country and none of them have yet been given a game date, making the listing of Amazon India seem strange. Previously, the Microsoft Store has a May 25, 2021 launch date.

The publisher claimed that the date for Amazon India was a mistake. It has now moved to December 31, 2020 which is most likely placeholder.

At the moment, on Far Cry 6 there are few and far between other than its marketing centered heavily on Mandalorian’s Giancarlo Esposito. Its plot appears to be riddled with political themes as previous Far Cry entries.
