MoreFine Focus announces First Mini-PC powered with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU

After featuring in many laptops, the AMD Ryzen 5000 series (Cezanne) is about to make its way into the Mini-PC market soon. As MoreFine Focus and Minisforum, have announced the first AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU-powered Mini PC – S55+, with tons of performance to compete against the Intel Tiger Lake-powered Mini-PCs such as NUCs.

Morefine’s Mini-PC S500+ is the first to feature an AMD Ryzen 5000H series processor and is claimed to be the strongest Mini-PC Ever Built.

This Mini PC, packaged within an aluminum-magnesium alloy shell – dimensions of 150x145x40mm – with an ultra-light & wear-resistant surface – weighs about 1000 grams – features a mini-STX motherboard with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX (flagship Cezanne) CPU – 8-core and 16-thread unlocked processor with a boost clock of 4.70 GHz, dual DDR4 SODIMM slots, dual M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slot, a single 2.5″ HDD (SATA III) slot, and an M.2 WiFi/BT port (NGFF), reports VideoCardz. 

Mini-PC S500+

The device can be equipped with 32GB + 1TB SSD High-Speed Storage and DDR4 up to 3200MHz or LPDDR4 up to 4266MHZ. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wifi-6 as well as Bluetooth 5.0. MoreFine Focus has used a pure copper mute cooling fan which enables higher airflow with low noise output.

For input/output, the MoreFine Focus’p AMD Ryzen powered Mini PC features, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2, 2 USB 2.0, a USB Type-C port, power input, DisplayPort, 2 RJ45 LAN Ports (2.5GbE/1GbE), HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There’s no official announcement on pricing and availability yet, but it is expected that the S500+ Mini PC will be available soon with a price tag of over $500.
