Update: Adding fuel to the rumors a domain for “Ghost of Ikishima” (ghostofikishima.com) – possible Ghost of Tsushima standalone expansion -has been registered online, reports ScreenRant.

Original Article: Ghost of Tsushima is an action-adventure game that was released in 2020 and it made a huge success in profits and likeability. Through some reports, it comes to known that the Ghost of Tsushima expansion titled ‘Ghost of Ikishima’ is coming at the end of 2021 and would be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

According to rumors, the Ghost of Ikishima is in underdevelopment (via Wccftech). Nick Baker (@Shpeshal_Nick) is a reliable leaker who recently revealed about the Ikishima game coming this year through his Twitter account.

Ghosts of Ikishima. An Expandalone type game. Aiming for 2021. Not sure how so many seemed to find out so quick.

— King Gronk Nick  (@Shpeshal_Nick) June 24, 2021

This tweet mentioned the ‘expand alone’ it can mean that the Ghost of Ikishima will be purchased and played without owning Ghost of Tsushima. There is a possibility that Ghost of Ikishima is linked with Gears 5: Hivebusters in terms of single-player expansion and length of the game.

Ghost of Ikishima is reportedly going to launch in 2021 on various platforms like PS4 and PS5. It might be possible that the rumor of this game comes true at the PlayStation event which is coming soon (July 8).

Rumors of Ghost of Ikishima game make sense as Ghost of Tsushima was published by Sony Entertainment. And they did not have released any new game after Spider-Man: Miles Morales. If this news comes true it would be a success for Sony. Apart from this a film adaptation of  ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ is in works at Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions with John Wick director Chad Stahelski.
