HMD Global has finally unveiled its first Android tablet Nokia T20, which comes with a 10.4-inch 2K display, UNISOC T610 octa-core SoC, a huge 8,200mAh battery, and IP52 certification.

Priced at £179.99/$250 (roughly Rs 21,500) for the Wi-Fi + 4G version and £199.99 (roughly Rs 17,500) for the LTE model, this tablet is designed to be used for working and studying from home. So let’s take a closer look at its features and specifications.

Nokia T20 Specs and Features

This 7.8mm thick and weighs 465 grams Nokia T20 Android tablet features a minimal design with an aluminum shell having a sandblasted finish and a dust and water resistance rating of IP52. Its LCD display (protected by the toughened glass) measures 10.4-inches and has a 2K (1200 x 2000) resolution with a 5:3 aspect ratio, SGS low blue light certification, a brightness level of 400 nits, and a brightness boost feature.

Under the hood, Nokia T20 is powered by the Unisoc T610 processor – features two Cortex A75 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and six Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz – coupled with 4GB of RAM and the 64GB of storage expandable by up to 512GB via a MicroSD card slot.

Coming to the optics, it features a single 5MP camera in front positioned at the long side of the display. On the back, it has an 8MP camera along with an LED flash.

Additionally, T20 has two microphones, stereo speakers with a powerful amplifier, FM radio, and Nokia’s signature OZO technology, and an audio jack too. Also, it features Face Unlock instead of a fingerprint scanner.

The Nokia T20 Android tablet packs an 8200mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging via USB-C (however, comes with a 10W charger in the box).

Price and Availablity

Running on Android 11 out of the box with pre-installed Google Kids Space and Google Entertainment Space, Nokia T20 is now available to pre-order from Nokia.com for £179.99 (Wi-Fi version) and £199.99 (LTE model) and comes only in a solitary Ocean Blue color.

Nokia says it will receive two years of OS upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates while the enterprise edition will get 4 years of security updates. The company has also unveiled a rugged case priced at $39.99 / £39.99, and the flip case $59.99 / £49.99 for the tablet.
