OnlyFans, known for their adult (NSFW) content, is currently not available on Google’s PlayStore and Apple’s App Store due to the same reason it is popular for. But that changes today, as the company has come up with a new app named OFTV, that has strictly safe-for-work (SFW) content and provides a better platform for online creators including fitness instructors, chefs, musicians, podcasters, and more.
OnlyFans CEO Tim Stokely during their press conference said their motive to bring OFTV is about moving the OnlyFans image away from just the adult content along with promote its creators and showcasing the oompany’s other services including fitness, cooking, comedy, music, and more.
“From the onset of launching OnlyFans, we have been a creator-first platform to give creators further autonomy and power over their content,” said Tim Stokely, OnlyFans founder and CEO. “We’re all about giving creators more opportunities to get their content out there and more ways for our community to access it.”
Launched back in January, to showcase the creator’s content OFTV library has more than 800 videos from over 100 creators. With this it also including the original series ‘Unlocked’ in which there are interviews with creators like media personality and former-pornographic actress Mia Khalifa, and actress and director Bella Thorne and Holly Madison.
OFTV will mostly contain videos from creators like fitness instructors, chefs, musicians, podcasters, choreographers, photographers, and more. But according to Bloomberg, even being free from NFSW content, it still has many scantily clad females (for example, a podcasts titled Coffe and Cleavage).
OFTV is currently free to view (no ads) and is available on Android, iOS, Apple TV, Roku, FireTV, Android TV, and Samsung Smart TVs.
