Sentinels have announced the signing of Tyson “TenZ” Ngo as a permanent fixture in the org for VCT Masters One. This signing will see Tenz replacing Sinatraa in the Sentinels.
Sentinels are bringing “TenZ” to fill the void left after the suspension of Jay “Sinatraa” Won from both the league and the team following the sexual assault allegations by his ex-girlfriend (thanks Dexetro). These allegations are supported by audio and some screenshots of direct messages and org has launched an investigation internally.
However, Tenz was the first player to reach the Radiant rank in VALORANT beta and was the member of Cloud9 (C9), before he stepped back from C9’s competitive VALORANT roster in January. But now he will compete for Sentinels in VCT Masters One, with a possibility of playing in other matches too, as org has acquired the rights to TenZ, according to a recent ruling by Riot Games.
Sentinels, who are the favorites to win the tournament, will go into their match against Luminosity with Tyson “TenZ” Ngo (Rifler), Shahzeeb “ShahZaM” Khan (IGL), Hunter “SicK” Mims (Entry), Jared “zombs” Gitlin (Rifler), and Michael “dapr” Gulino (Support).
