Square Enix announced a FF spin-off action-adventure game ‘Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin’ set to launch sometime in 2022, at its E3 2021 and also revealed that a Pixel Remaster Collection of the first 6 mainline titles of Final Fantasy is also coming soon. Along with this a PS5 demo of Stranger of Paradise will be available from now until June 24th.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Announced
Yes readers, finally the rumors are put to a halt as they have proved to be true that a new game is coming from Team NINJA. Square Enix added that the ‘Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin’ is a collaboration between the Final Fantasy veterans Tetsuya Nomura, Kazushige Nojima, and the action game studio Team Ninja.
Square Enix also released a 2min trailer (embed below) of the Stranger of Paradise showing the characters and theme of the game. The players will get a chance to explore the dark fantasy world, battling with the iconic monsters, using powerful spells and abilities from a sample of jobs including warriors, dragons, black mage.
Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is set to release in 2022 with no clear information of the exact dates. But as per the announcement, it will be made available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, X|S, and PC.

Astonishing news for PS5 players about Final Fantasy Origin
Even though Square Enix will be releasing the game in 2022, as per the announcement made on Sunday, the PS5 players will get a chance to play the trial version of ‘Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin’ from June 13th till June 24th, 2021.
This trial version is made available and focuses on getting a survey done related to the user feedback so they can make more improvements and provide a better experience. For this, the players are invited and if you are also interested then you need to buckle up as the time is limited. Team Ninja’s Head Funihiko said:
“I am truly happy to be involved with Final Fantasy and the title connected to its origin at that. Using the feedback that the players provide after playing the trial version, all of us at team Ninja will work to make this a title that meets the expectation of not only action game fans, but also the final fantasy series fans around the world!!”
However, PS5 players are not able to lay it yet has FF Origin PS5 is showing “Data is Corrupted” error after downloading.
Update: Developers have now announced that they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
Square Enix to bring Pixel Remaster of all Classic Final Fantasy games
So readers, at E3 2021, Square Enix made many announcements like the release of FF origin, Guardians of the Galaxy game, etc. And one announcement among them was Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collection. This FF pixel remaster collection will have remasters of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 2, Final Fantasy 3, Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 5, Final Fantasy 6 as per the official announcement and will be the ‘Ultimate 2D remasters’ with sharp-edged roots only for Steam (PC), Android, and iOS.
Moreover, there are no details about the release date yet but it is mentioned that it will be ‘Coming Soon’.
