ADATA Technology, the Taiwanese memory and storage manufacturer of the main product line which consists of DRAN modules, NAND Flash products, mobile accessories, gaming products, etc, and its gaming brand XPG revealed its new products in an online event ‘Xtreme Inovation’.
The latest products from ADATA and XPG revealed at the event include the next-gen DDR5 memory which offers insane transfer speeds of 12,600 MT/s with overclocking support, an all-new SE920 external SSD running on the latest USB 4.0 interface, and much more.
ADATA XPG DDR5-12600 & DDR5-8400 Memory
ADATA uncovered its next-generation memory module lined up in two categories. One will give speed up to 8,400 Mbps with a capacity of 64 GB per DIMM operating at 1.1v. It is around 163% faster than the existing DDR4.
Another one will deliver speed up to 12,600 Mbps which may be twice the capacity of the existing DDR4 (32 GB vs 16 GB) Its voltages lie between 1.1V and 1.6 V. Both DDR5 are expected to launch later this year.
ADATA SE920 USB4 External SSD
Next up is ADATA USB4 external Solid State Drive (SSD) – SE920 – which is almost four times faster than the earlier USB3.2. It has a speed of 4000MB/s and is also equipped with ADATA’s proprietary heat conduction which keeps things cool and will help to maintain stability in any environment.
ADATA LEGEND PCIe Gen4 SSD, Premier Extreme SDXC PCIe Express Card, XPG XENIA 14 Gaming Lifestyle Ultrabook and XPG XENIA 15 Gaming Lifestyle Ultraboo were also reveled at the event.
