Minimum system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077
The minimum system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 are really surprising if you consider the scope of the game. Gamers will need either 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 10 with DirectX 12, and for CPU, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i5-3570K or an AMD FX-8310. Recommended System requirements for Cyberpunk 2077
So, as the minimum requirements for the game aren’t that bad of course, but most of us probably want to play Cyberpunk 2077 at more than just minimal settings. And for the same CD Projekt’s recommended system requirements are a little more demanding, but surprisingly, they’re still pretty reasonable. For CPU you will need either an Intel Core i7-4790 or an AMD Ryzen 3 3200G or better, 12GB of RAM, and either an NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 Fury GPU under the hood of your system.
CD Projekt Red recommends SSD over HDD
Also as you can see in the above tweet, CD Projekt Red recommends rolling CyberPunk 2077 with an SSD over HDD, likely to cut down on loading times. Open-world RPGs like Cyberpunk 2077 can go heavy on loading when stored on a regular HDD, so putting the game on an SSD should help reduce that extra loading time.
And additionally, if you are looking to run the game at 1440p or 4K or take advantage of the game’s technical features like ray tracing, you will need to upgrade to an RTX 20-series or 30-series GPU. The game will launch on Nov. 19 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. And you can play it on next-gen consoles too as CD Projekt Red confirmed that PS5 and Xbox Series X / S owners will be able to play Cyberpunk 2077 at launch.
