In the latest installment of Newegg Insider firstly reported by VideoCardz, the U.S. retailer reportedly exposes the juicy specs for the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, and RX 6700 XT. It’s quite possible that these reveals are correct, however, their appearance in Newegg Insider doesn’t mean they’re 100% true.
Newegg Insider is a platform that typically provides consumers buying guides, videos, product overviews and other info. And according to the publication, the Radeon RX 6900 XT will presumably features a 5,120 SPs, 16GB of GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit memory bus, and which results in a memory bandwidth of 512 GBps.
Now the Radeon RX 6800 which will be going to feature a 3,840 SPs with 12GB of GDDR6 memory around a 384 GBps of max theoretical memory bandwidth. As for the Radeon RX 6700 XT, the graphics card ostensibly has 2,560 SPs and 6GB of GDDR6 memory with the same level of memory bandwidth as the Radeon RX 6800 XT.
And now according to the final bit of info from the article which shows the power ratings, the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, 6800 XT, and 6700 XT, might come with the thermal design power (TDP) ratings of 300W, 200W, and 150W respectively. The publication also claims that the trio could come with the same base block which is 1,500 MHz and 16 Gbps GDDR6 memory chips.
AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, RX 6700 XT Specifications (not confirmed)
Graphics Card | Stream Processors | Base Clock (MHz) | Memory Capacity | Memory Bandwidth (GBps) | Memory Interface | TDP (W) |
Radeon RX 6900 XT | 5,120 | 1,500 | 16GB GDDR6 | 512 | 256-bit | 300 |
Radeon RX 6800 XT | 3,840 | 1,500 | 12GB GDDR6 | 384 MAX | 192-bit | 200 |
Radeon RX 6700 XT | 2,560 | 1,500 | 6GB GDDR6 | 384 MAX | 192-bit | 150 |
Some of the above specifications appear to fall in line with the previous ones. But as previously stated, we can’t be certain if the author had access to confidential information or not, and if these will be the finalized specifications. So we recommend you all to take the above specs details with a pinch of salt.
However, we don’t have to wait longer now to expect what AMD has planned about the Radeon RX 6000 series. As in a month now, AMD will reveal its set of GPUs i.e. on Oct. 28.
