What makes Carbon 1 Mark II, one of a kind smartphone
As stated by the company, Carbon 1 Mark II is the world’s first smartphone with a carbon fiber monocoque, which consists of multi 1K and 3K ultra-thin filaments (meaning that its external shell provides the structural integrity, there’re no internal supports). This makes it stronger than steel and lighter than aluminum at the same time. Numerically the phone is extremely light .i.e 125 grams and thin i.e. 6.3 millimeters. And for comparison, an average phone weighs around 180 grams.
It uses the HyRECM (Hybrid Radio Enabled Composite Material) technology which allows radio waves to pass through it. Now in terms of specs, the Carbon 1 Mark II has a 6-inch AMOLED display with 2160x1080p resolution (18:9) and is protected by a 0.4mm Corning Gorilla Glass 7. Running on Android 10 (with Android 11 coming soon) it is powered by the 12nm MediaTek Helio P90 processor (2x Cortex-A75 @ 2.2 GHz + 6x A55 @ 2.0 GHz, PowerVR GM 9446 GPU) coupled with an 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of storage.
It has a 3000mAh battery which gets 50% chared in half an hour. Now photography-wise, it has a rear camera of 16MP with f/2.01 aperture and a back camera of 20MP withf/2.2 aperture. Additional Carbon 1 Mark II is a 4G dual SIM phone which has a Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC (no headphone jack), GPS, a USB-C 3.1 port along with a fingerprint reader on the side.
