Netflix Revealed TV Show
Netflix accidentally revealed a 3D animated TV show based on the classic game IP Sonic the Hedgehog which is its upcoming originals. And soon after the tweet made by Netflix was deleted, indicating that it wasn’t ready to reveal the title at this time but they were not fast enough to hide some details from the fans about the upcoming originals.
Tweet Deleted
A tweet on the NXOnNetflix Twitter account revealed the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog series which was quickly deleted by the company. But the tweet was copied entirely before it got deleted revealing that the video game icon as a 3D animation will hit the small screen again.
The project is scheduled to premiere on the streaming service in 2022 which is a work initiative of Netflix, Sega, WildBrain, and Man of Action Entertainment. The tweet deleted was accompanied by the teaser image revealing Netflix logo ‘N’ and Sonic character’s silhouette which will be the attraction of the original.
The sad part being nothing deductive could not make out like no other details about the original wasn’t shared. So it is quite early to say about the storyline and animation to expect and whether we will be seeing a 2D counterpart of the 3D show for non-enthusiasts technology lovers.
Experimenting and Succeeding
Netflix is trying this theme of the show based on beloved video game franchise, we have content like the Castlevania anime and an animation based on The Witcher will soon be released by the company. A solid success has been made by Netflix with many of its original children’s programming and has now added 3D to its experimenting list of unique storytelling formats.
