OnePlus officially launches its first smartwatch ‘OnePlus Watch’ priced at $159/€159/Rs.16,999

OnePlus Watch Launched

OnePlus has finally announced the release of its first smartwatch. Both basic health-tracking sensors are included in the latest OnePlus Watch. For the first smartwatch, the business went with a circular dial.

The basic version of the new smartwatch costs ₹16,999. It will have a special introductory price of Rs. 14,999, on its first sale as per the official website. The price of the new Cobalt Limited Edition watch has yet to be announced.

Design and Appearance

The watch is 46mm in diameter. A Cobalt Limited Edition watch has also been released by the brand. Cobalt alloy is used in the limited version, which also includes a leather strap.

A 1.39-inch AMOLED display is featured on the OnePlus Watch. Sensors such as an altimeter, GPS, and a blood oxygen metre are included in the watch.

Idle alert: There are over 110 exercise modes on the phone. The Watch also comes with 500 songs worth of local storage. Users may also use the watch to answer phone calls.

Hassle-Free Control

The OnePlus Watch can also be used to monitor basic functions on the OnePlus TV, such as volume control. The Watch even monitors the user’s sleep patterns in order to switch off the television after half an hour.

The company claims that the battery would last two weeks of continuous use. It will have a week’s worth of power when used hard.

OnePlus 9 Series launched

In addition, two new smartphones in the OnePlus 9 flagship series have been announced by the company. The camera setup on the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9 was developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset drives the tablets.

The computer has a 4500mAh battery with 65W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities. Reverse charging is also possible with these phones.
