Watch The First Full ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Trailer Tampering With Multiverse

After various fan-made and leaked trailers surfaced online, Sony has now finally released the long-awaited first full trailer for “Spider-Man: No Way Home” featuring Tom Holland’s Peter Parker discovering what it truly means to be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Highly-anticipated No Way Home, arriving in theaters on December 17, 2021, is the latest entry in the SPUMC (The Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters) which promises an epic, emotional sendoff to the latest trilogy.

As we know, the movie is set just after the events of the previous movie where things got completely insane for Peter, and will Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker, Jacob Batalon as Ned, and Zendaya as MJ. Jon Watts is directing the last movie in the trilogy which also includes Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, can be seen assisting Peter in dealing with the chaos going on and eventually setting up the path for his sequel “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” (slated for March 2022 release).

Now talking about the trailer, which was full of easter eggs and nostalgia, we see Peter dealing with the world who now knows his secret identity, and is investigating him for the murder of Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). After that Peter goes to Doctor Strange asking to make everyone forget that Parker is Spider-Man. And then the spell goes wrong and multiverse comes into play, as Strangecomments that they’ve tampered with the multiverse, a concept of which he knows “frighteningly little,” bringing back some familiar Spidey villains (probably Sinister Six – Doc Ock, Green Golbin, Electro, Lizard, Scorpian (not confirmed) and Sandman) from the (non-MCU) past.

We first saw yellow lighting (probably caused by Jamie Foxx’s Electro, from The Amazing Spider-Man 2) with some sand (could be Sandman) and a dark shot where Peter douches the attack from Lizard. The trailer then ends with a pumpkin bomb thrown by Green Goblin (from 2002’s Spider-Man) played by Willem Dafoe making the iconic laugh heard, Dr. Strange saying “Be careful what you wish for Parker,” and Alfred Molina’s de-aged Doc Ock (from 2004’s Spider-Man 2) saying “Hello, Peter.”

On a related note, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock from Marvel’s Daredevil is rumored to appear in the movie and I think he could be the person who shows up in the tie and white shirt during Peter’s interrogation scene, so do tell me what you think about this and the whole trailer in the comment section below.

Notably, we do not see Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield reprising their respective Spider-Man characters, which is heavily rumored to happen in the movie. But it’s not a big deal as Sony might be planning to not show everything in the first trailer. However, we still get some multiverse elements or should I say those rainbow shots being introduced which will with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the future.

So that’s all about it. Spider-Man: No Way Home will arrive on December 17 in theaters exclusively and then on Disney Plus after 45 days.
