Talking about the card, Intel Iris Xe DG1 is a GPU that most people probably never heard of. Intel sent the SDV (software development vehicle) format of the card to the developers. So the final specs of Iris Xe DG1 can differ from SDV format. And as you might have guessed that it was not meant for consumer use and nor for being inside a gaming system but CyberPower ended up doing it (brave move). However, let’s talk about the Iris Xe DG1 graphics card a little more:

  • Intel’s Iris Xe DG1 lacks the pixel prowess
  • It has 4GB of LPDDR4X VRAM combined with a 128-bit memory bus.
  • DG1 comes with 640 shading units across 80 execution units
  • And has a 1700 Mhz clock

What’s the price of CyberPowerPC – Gamer Xtreme Gaming Desktop?

Although the PC along with Intel Iris Xe as per its features is not the one you must be looking for in order to have the best gaming experience, but for the users who do not mainly focus on performance, it is quite budget-friendly.

For now, this Intel Iris Xe powered “CyberPowerPC – Gamer Xtreme Gaming Desktop” is listed at Best Buy with a price tag of $750. It might not be a graphic powerhouse, due to its surprising choice of GPU, but the other components are what you’d typically find in a budget gaming desktop.

As for Intel competing with Nvidia and AMD, might not be possible with this DG1 graphics card. But that might change soon as Intel is working on the next-gen discrete GPU – DG2 – for gamers. And according to rumors DG2 is expected to release sometime in 2022, and finally, Intel may become able to give some fight to Nvidia and AMD in the discrete GPU market.
