Get ready to jump back to your school time, Johnny Test Reboot Series (or Season 7) is coming to Netflix on July 16, 2021. Johnny Test Reboot series is the direct continuation of the original and ex-Cartoon Network series, picking up where it left off with a much clean and high-resolution look. It will be the first of two new seasons ordered by Netflix, each consisting of 20 episodes of 11 minutes runtime, long with an interactive special planned, as well.
On 18 Jun, Netflix released the official trailer for the Johnny Test Reboot series (or Season 7) giving us the first look at the new series or season (depends on how you see it). The trailer (embed below) was captioned as “How much trouble could one imaginative boy, his faithful dog, and two science-loving sisters possibly get into? Hmm, that sounds like a challenge!”
The trailer pretty much abbreviates the entire season and talking about the storyline (as mentioned above) it will start from where the original series left off.
A Glimpse of Johnny Test Reboot Series
The new sereis or season has got varied challenges for Johnny and his Test family (and his dog Dukey) from inventing the “GPEscape” to travel to the wild place, a royal battle episode on “Melee Island,” and a new baby in Johnny’s family who turns out to be a complete nuisance and an evil robot.
This season would even witness a team-up episode of the Test Family. The trailer tells it all about the adventure in Johnny’s life. Johnny Test Reboot series features many profound looks with high resolution but at the same time maintains the old charm that made millions of people love Johnny Test.
Johnny Test (one of my personal favorites) has been jumping around from The Kid’s WB block to The CW then to Cartoon Network in 2008 and finally to Netflix, thrilling for most of its fans. If you are unfamiliar with the original Johhny Test Series then go and check all six seasons that are streaming on Netflix.
Johnny Test Reboot Cast
The new series will also witness the return of much of its original voice casts. Starting with James Arnold Taylor as Johnny, Trevor Devall as Dukey, Ashleigh Ball as Mary, and Maryke Hendrikse as Susan.
Johnny Test the main protagonist of the story is a mischievous, troublesome, unpredictable, and iconic 11-year-old boy who has a dog Dukey and twin scientist sisters Susan and Mary who always up with their new inventions to exaggerate the problems. All three of them are Hugh and Lila’s little kids.
The hyperactive and instant ideas of Johnny, turned into reality by his sisters lead to some or other kind of trouble and mayhem in their lives, but the clever and genius siblings are always up to solve and get out of it most dramatically and entertainingly.
Johnny Test Reboot will surely witness an amazing add-up to its fan following and make the audience perplexed with the theme.
