Update: PUBG: New State, the upcoming free-to-play mobile game, will release on iOS and Android on November 11, 2021 in over 200 countries and 17 languages, its publisher Krafton announced this news today, with a new trailer (embed below).
Original Article: Krafton Inc. has announced a mobile-exclusive sequel of PUBG and PUBG Mobile, titled “PUBG: New State” which will explore the future of the franchise’s universe. Now available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store and pre-order on the Apple App Store (with pre-registration coming soon), “PUBG: New State” is a sci-fi take on the franchise which will be set in 2051 and will feature many futuristic items.
As you can see in the above trailer this new game appears to give a much greater experience than PUBG and PUBG Mobile, due to its futuristic-looking vehicles, drones, and its 2051 setting, with intact battle royale gameplay.
Not much is know about how many maps will it have in addition to the TROI map shown in the trailer and when will it launch. But one thing is clear that PUBG Corp and Krafton are looking to deliver a completely different experience here for PUBG: New State.
