Bill Gates who now mostly focuses on Social and public work instead of involving anything related to tech has made his first appearance on Clubhouse (an invite-only social app for iPhone only) this week. Where journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin asked the Microsoft co-founder about his views over Android vs iOS (the hot topic which Twitter users generally asks him too).
On which Bill Gates, who started using Android back in 2017, after using Windowsphone revealed that he actually uses “an Android phone because I want to keep track of everything, I’ll often play around with iPhones, but the one I carry around happens to be Android.” Further, Gates said that “some of the Android manufacturers pre-install Microsoft software in a way that makes it easy for me, and they’re more flexible about how the software connects up with the operating system, so that’s what I ended up getting used to … A lot of my friends have iPhones, so there’s no purity.”
From the above statements, it appears that Gates prefers Android over iOS, because of its flexibility and Ecosystem. This chat has made Bill Gates the latest tech insider to appear on Clubhouse after Elon Musk appeared on the social app in starting of the month and given the updates on Neuralink’s wired-up monkey, who plays video games.
Check out Bill Gates’ full chat in the video down below, where he also discussed about Bitcoin, the long-rumored Apple Car, and Ongoing pandemic:
