TV’s most iconic and terrifying dogs are teaming up in one of the biggest crossover movies of all time. Yes, a big surprise for the fans of these blockbuster cartoon series is that both Scooby-Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog are teaming up in a new comedy special feature movie – Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo meets Courage the Cowardly Dog – by Warner Bro releasing in September this year.

Check out the official Straight Outta Nowhere trailer below:

WB’s Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo meets Courage the Cowardly Dog (written by Mike Ryan) will definitely bring nostalgia back to those of us who have grown up watching these hit series. Merging the two dogs from two different worlds is definitely gonna stretch the limits of entertainment and fun of course. But it is a kind of high dare and risky task to combine their style and aesthetics together. Where Scooby-Doo is a series from around 1969 and the other one is a major hit of 1999, released on Cartoon Network.

Cecilia Aranovich, the director of the movie said, ”Merging the two worlds in a cohesive manner was one of the most challenging aspects of production.” She also added that they’ve actually found, “The right balance by bringing in the design elements and the color palette from the courage world, as well as infusing Scooby and the gang with the more over-the-top takes.”

The director also teased fans with some movie inside fun elements, she told SYFY that, “The movie is filled with easter eggs from the 1st courage series and it is combined with quirky humor, offbeat characters, outlandish action sequences, and very important is the mystery that is inherent in every Scooby-Doo story.”

With a runtime of 72 minutes, Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo meets Courage the Cowardly Dog will release on digital platforms and DVDs on September 14, 2021. This is going to be a must-watch movie.
